Our Story
Mma Elite was founded in 1998 by two lifelong martial artists and enthusiasts, Jason Miller and Luis Santos. After training in various disciplines like Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, boxing, wrestling, and more, Jason and Luis recognized a lack of stylish, high-quality MMA gear on the market. Most options were either cheaply made or failed to capture the true spirit of the sport.
So they set out to create an MMA clothing brand that spoke to devoted practitioners and fans. One that blended comfortable, technical fabrics with bold, eye-catching graphics inspired by some of the biggest names and moments in MMA.
Starting first with t-shirts and shorts, Mma Elite quickly gained a cult following on the MMA circuit. As the brand expanded into snapbacks, hoodies, jerseys, and more, top fighters began sporting Mma Elite apparel on their walkouts and in the cage. Our unique, fighter-approved designs helped establish Mma Elite as the go-to gear brand for MMA athletes and enthusiasts.
